Neonatal fever

We recently did a review of neonatal fever and sepsis. Attached is the lecture handout. Here is a summary table of the risk stratification tools. Items in RED are the most conservative recommendations of the assessment tools.

Having a fever is oftentimes a symptom of a different disease. When I was still studying medicine, I found out a lot about how fever works. Well, I do not want to discuss it at length because I may be wrong with things. Well, in this situation, I believe that this is just a mild fever. You can easily treat this with some home remedies, however, if the fever continues, then I suggest that you go to a nearby clinic.
